1. What we collect
Account information (name, email, company), document metadata (recipient name, company, signing timestamps, IP addresses for audit trail), and billing information processed by Stripe.
2. How we use it
To provide the service: generate NDAs, deliver signing links via email and SMS, store signed documents, and produce a verifiable audit trail.
3. Storage and security
Documents are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authenticated users; row-level isolation ensures users only see their own documents.
4. Sharing
We share data only with subprocessors required to operate the service (hosting, email/SMS delivery, payment processing). We do not sell personal data.
5. Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting privacy@fieldnda.com.
6. Retention
Signed documents are retained for the lifetime of your subscription plus a reasonable archival period, unless you request earlier deletion.
7. SMS & phone numbers
Recipient mobile numbers used for SMS delivery of an NDA are voluntarily provided by the recipient directly to the FieldNDA account holder (the sender) during an in-person meeting or an existing business conversation. The sender then enters that number into FieldNDA to request SMS delivery. FieldNDA never purchases, rents, scrapes, harvests, or uploads phone numbers from marketing lists or third-party data sources, and neither does the sender under our Terms of Service.
Recipient phone numbers are used solely for the transactional delivery of an NDA after recipient SMS consent. Before FieldNDA texts any signing link, we send a separate consent-request SMS to the number and require the recipient to reply YES to opt in. We record the reply message ID, body, status, and timestamp for audit. Typical message frequency is one consent request SMS followed by one NDA signing-link SMS per NDA transaction. Additional HELP or STOP confirmations occur only when initiated by the recipient. Numbers are transmitted to our SMS provider (Twilio) solely to deliver these messages. We do not sell phone numbers and do not share them with third parties for marketing. Recipients can reply NO to decline, STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Business Ownership
FieldNDA is owned or operated by Colowebo LLC and is part of the VentureX OS portfolio of ventures. Operational, compliance, customer support, analytics, and administrative functions may be provided through VentureX OS systems.
